This explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It's written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect
- Your email address, which Stripe passes to us when you pay.
- The answers you give during the interview.
- Any document you choose to upload (entirely optional).
- The finished instructions file we build for you.
- Whether you ticked the marketing opt-in box (it is unticked by default).
- A referral code, if you arrived through someone's link.
What we never see
Your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe; your card number never reaches our servers.
Uploaded files are deleted
If you upload a document, it is used only to build your file, and then it is deleted. We do not store it, we do not share it, and we do not train any model on it.
What we keep is the finished markdown file and your contact record. Nothing else from the build survives.
How your answers are processed
Your answers are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your file. Anthropic processes them on our behalf as a service provider.
We also rely on a small number of other providers to run the service: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Vercel (hosting).
How long we keep things
- In-progress interview answers expire automatically within hours of the build.
- Your finished file stays retrievable from its link for at least 7 days.
- Your email and purchase record are retained so we can support you and honour refunds.
We always send you the transactional email containing your file. That is not marketing, and it is never conditional on any consent.
We only send occasional offers if you explicitly ticked the opt-in box. Every such email identifies us, includes our mailing address, and carries a one-click unsubscribe. You can also just reply and ask.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use a third-party analytics service. We count anonymous events (such as 'a page was viewed') in our own server logs, with no personal data attached.
Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot before checkout, may set its own technical storage for that purpose.
Your rights
Email hello@notgenericai.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will not make you jump through hoops.
